Having been fortunate enough to have seen many of the movies on show at this year's Asia House Film Festival , I've been blown away by the sheer eclectic quality of the line-up.
From the spectacular Stranger through to the astonishing Factory Boss , the range and depth of features on display make this a must-attend event for anyone with even the smallest of interests in world cinema.
For those who have never attended a festival before and are curious as to what it may be like or, equally, for those who, like myself, consider themselves insatiable cinephiles, The Totality has teamed up with Asia House Film Festival to give away a pair of tickets to the UK Premiere of State of Play .
The documentary, about competitive video-gaming in South Korea, looks at a country where pro-gamers are treated as national celebrities, and where participants are sold the promise of prestige, money, and a bevy of adoring fans, but.... at what cost? As a country which is far ahead of the pop culture curve, does State of Play further offer warning signs we in the West should acknowledge?
The film screens on February 23rd at Asia House in London (location, via Google Maps can be found here ), and includes a post-screening Q&A with director Steven Dhoedt. A pair of tickets for the event are available to one lucky reader of this site.
